Waxing Rainbow Moon Drawing Magic

Rainbow Moon Drawing Magic is a cumulative drawing practice illustrating the phases of the moon. Each time the moon is visible to me, I add a new layer to reflect the moon’s appearance.

the sharp edge of a new crescent moon is suspended between a hazy horizon and a deep, cold evening sky.
A bare apple branch is pointing to daytime a waxing quarter moon above a thick wave of clouds.
The tips of a thousand leafless twigs stretch themselves toward a waxing gibbous moon in a cool crystal sky.
