Description
These rounded altar dishes are designed to hold small offerings–like seeds, salt, flowers, or incense. They are the perfect size for shelves, side tables, and window sills.
These pieces are made in a marbled nerikomi pattern of dark brown and white stoneware. Nerikomi is a Japanese technique for layering different colors of clay to create intricate patterns.
These pieces are also soda fired! When soda ash is added into the hot kiln, it vaporizes and coats the pieces, making a totally unique glaze. Each altar dish is one-of-a-kind.
