Melon 5 (Big Melon) is a small collage drawing showing half a watermelon with a lime and hot chile on a bright blue checker background.
This piece is part of my Bodega series, which I made by cutting and combining bits of unfinished artworks. I created each fruit one-at-a-time, then later combined them into an imaginary still life.
